I’ve never seen this before. Does it appear anywhere in the series? If not, it doesn’t belong here in TNG.
One of the ships in Wolf 359. You see a damaged version of it briefly in BoBW.
Not particularly. The New Orleans Class is my favourite there.
I don't think we have ever seen her class onscreen in any of the shows, ok I missed her then in BOBW.
One of the might-have-beens: Greg Jein went to the trouble of casting a custom saucer for this one (and for the three-nacelled Niagara) to create a model that with a little more work could have been a proper, lit and motion-controlled photographic model for close-ups.
Today, it's so much easier to whip up "kitbashes" that are actually made of 100% custom-built elements and merely tip their saucers to the "general spirit" or "design ethos" of the hero ship of the day instead of directly recycling her parts... But Jein's single-naceller is a worthy stablemate for the TNG hero vessel, and a sad reminder that the E-D never really got an entourage of fitting designs to accompany her. The only two designs sharing the "design ethos" thing and actually having screen time were the Nebula and the Akira; a number of smaller or more distinct companions would have done the show good, and allowed the franchise to save the TOS movie designs for creating the proper "era feel" for other spinoffs.

What........the.......f***??? That is horrible.
A single nacelle design could work just not this one. Having the saucer on top like that just looks goofy and unwieldy.

A 24th century version of the Saladin-Class. I'm quite "meh" towards her.

It's just okay. It's pretty bad compared to other TNG-era ships, but it's not THAT bad.Edit: Eaglemoss has one, and it looks pretty bad. (Not Eaglemoss's fault, I mean the ship itself)
Single nacelle ships are interesting but there's always that "Why?" question. Did they have a shortage at NacelleMart or is it some kind of training ship for captains that aren't ready for their Class 1 license yet.
I like the Kelvin but for some reason it looks better with the secondary hull attached, has a kind of symmetry. But it does look like the natural progress from Hermes/Saladin

Maybe it’s like a single engine pilot’s license vs. twin. Whole lot mort training so that second engine can get you to the crash site.

I like weird-ass fugzilla kitbash ships, so yes.

If you chuck a secondary hull up top then it's pretty much the Kelvin. If the nacelle was closer to the hull I might like it, it just looks too odd to me as is.

This is ugly. And so is that one that wasn't used for D.S.9..
And I recall that Gene had some "reason" that the ships had two nacelles, so this tosses that out having one.
