Why was the feminist thread closed? Personally, I feel M'Sharak is too trigger happy, always closing threads, most of the time for no real reason. Rather than letting conversation develop, he/she closes it.
But in the feminist thread, the excuse given was that a poster revived the topic after 3 days, and posted three replies in a row. Now excuse me, but what's the problem with reviving a thread after a whole 3 days?
Even a year, what difference does it make? The discussion can be ongoing! The three post thing, fair enough, but why not just let the poster know the rules. Rather than end the discussion just because of that
The line "this one's done", is both immature and condescending. Why is it done? Why couldn't further discussion develop? If it drops off with no more replies, fair enough, but why the need to close it? What if someone thought about somethng and wanted to post it in the topic, he can't because M'Sharak decided "it was done".
Sorry, there's constructive moderating, and then there's the trigger-happy type that verges on censorship.
