So... what happened to the Aquatic ship?

Turd Ferguson

Recently I finished the Xindi arc (intense last few episodes, I must say!) but I was a little curious.

So, the Xindi-Aquatic ship carries Enterprise back toward Earth, detaches, and heads back to the former Expanse. However, unbeknownst to Archer, Earth has been overtaken by alien Nazis from the future. And they're also in the 20th century.

I guess the question is, did Daniels transport Enterprise back to WWII after the Aquatic ship left the solar system, or did the Aquatic ship return to the 20th century Expanse?

I - Surak - was wondering about the same thing. Returning to the 20th century expanse would give them a chance to visit an intact Xindi homeworld complete with Avians.

I was wondering that very thing when I finished the Xindi Arc. Not only that, but if the weapon had gone off, would it have attacked 22ed century earth or WWII Alternate Earth? That seemed a little confusing to me, especially since we never saw another Xindi (other than in a dream sequence) again.

Two theories:

1. The Xindi dropped off Enterprise in the 22nd century and went off on it's merry way and then Daniels sent it back to the 20th without anyone knowing it.

2. Daniels sent it to the 22nd century without the Xindi or Enterprise knowing it. Once they dropped off the NX-01 they returned to the 22nd century unawre that they had gone back in time.

Yes, this is one of the great unanswered questions. After the last wrap-up speech from Tucker Smallwood's unnamed Xindi, the Xindi completely vanish (beside the Archer dream flashback). I can't figure it out.

That's what I always thought, yes. He clearly has that kind of technology - to transport the Enterprise but not the Xindi ship. He can do this to one person within the crew of a whole ship (i.e. Archer) so it stands to reason he can do it for a ship among many ships as well.

The weapon would have attacked 22nd Century Earth. If you remember, the Xindi destroyed Earth Station McKinley (I think it was - EDIT: It was Yosemite Station, McKinley was from Best of Both Worlds) and then Shran showed up to provide assitance. Both of those things wouldnt have happened had they been in 20th Century Earth, and its implied some time has passed since the destruction of the weapon and Enterprise returning to Earth.

It was another of those neat-seeming but nonsensical things Daniels loved to do. I mean - if he can magically move (beam?) a starship back in time 200 years, why does he need Archer to do all the work for him all the time? Why not use the same magic to beam Vosk, his time machine and his Space Nazi friends into the sun?
