Yep. Put a new sticker on it and charge another $30 since it's a collectible.
Sod all! Oh wait, I'm thinking of doctor who...
In all seriousness, a movie would be nice if they can get it finished by then, and I'd be quite pumped to see some of the old movies rereleased on the big screen. I know the local cinema here put on a screening of a couple remastered episodes of TNG for that anniversary (and to promote the remastering), so it wouldn't surprise me if something like that happened
Instead of waiting for TPTB to do something lackluster, how about we make something happen?
^What do you mean? Rent out a Knights of Colombus Hall, get some catered Chinese food, cash bar, and have a movie marathon?
^Organize some kind of prom and hang out by the punch bowl.
^ Spiked with Jager?
For the Trek frat boys I'm guessing.
And don't forget the "25th Anniversary Editions" of the "25th Anniversary Editions". Maybe at special 25th anniversary prices. No collection would be complete without those. And buy two, so you can leave one pristine in its package while enjoying the other.
Added to the "Special Added Features" of some movies will be critical insights from Key Grips down through the Trek movies.
Ooooh, Trek frat boys. I'll take a pass on any of their parties.
I'll turn 58.
About a month before my 45th birthday...
Star Trek TMP though Nemesis converted to 3D LOL
Final Frontier, Insurrection and Nemesis Special Extended Editions.
Also suitable as clay pigeons for skeet shooting.
If all goes well, my wife will turn 99 on First Contact Day (April 5, 2063).
...and I'll be 104.
Assuming you survive WWIII.
And non-nuclear WWIV.
Einstein said sticks and stones.
WWV will be fought by insults.
