Question, re: G'Kar & Londo's final scene as they kill each other in "War Without End pt.2"

A. Why is G'Kar back on Centauri Prime when in Season 5 he's no longer Londo's bodyguard and they acknowledge they'll probably never see each other again?
B. Why does he have makeshift eyepatch on? Did he lose his eye again? What happened to his prosthetic one?

I think he just kinda plodded thru RoS as if he was half asleep and reading from a teleprompter.

I don't follow your teleprompter comparison because I didn't get that felling at all, but his Soul Hunter character was supposed to have a specific way of talking:

Soul hunters don't generally get much chance to hang out and talk to people; they can empathically sense the language, however, when they encounter others. At first, he didn't know the language very well, and gradually became more able to express himself.

All is revealed in the Legions of Fire Centauri Prime novel trilogy by Peter David. It directly depicts all the events leading up to and past Sheridan and Delenn on Centauri Prime.

It's not a dangling thread. The books work out more details but the general thread can be followed from the show. You already have these points known:

Spoiler: Babylon 5

The Drakh have control of Londo.
G'Kar goes on a journey.
Vir is ambassador to Centauri Prime.
Sheridan & Delenn suspect Londo is in trouble.
G'Kar comes back from his journey and ends up on Centauri Prime to help his friend Londo.
David has a keeper with his number on it.
Sheridan & Delenn follow David to Centauri Prime and are captured.
Lady Morella gave Londo a prophecy on his chances for redemption.
Londo gets the keeper drunk and lets Sheridan & Delenn go.
G'Kar has an eyepatch again.
G'Kar and Londo kill each other and Londo is redeemed.

Except that's not what it was at all. JoeD80 has posted a nice summary of the info that the viewers had. The other thing to recall is that the Babylon story was a slice of history. History isn't neat and tidy and all wrapped up in 5 year increments. The books were made available for those who wanted more but the main story was complete in the show itself.

Newer shows have gotten into the multi-media thing in a big way, from what I've been hearing but I'm actually with you: I don't want to chase around to the 'net or to comics or to books to find out the things that should be in the show itself.
