So, I've been playing Star Trek: Hidden Evil...

So, recently, I've been playing Star Trek: Hidden Evil, the foray by Presto Studios of Journeyman Project and Myst III: Exile fame into the Star Trek universe-cum-tie-in game/sequel to the ninth film Insurrection. And, well.... As someone who hates keyboard tank controls, I'm shocked by how not only Hidden Evil manages to pull them off, but how the game is a genuinely fun action adventure title.

For me, although the art style, music, core gameplay and voice acting help, what makes me love Hidden Evil is the storyline. It is a classic Trek yarn with characters you can get behind, an interesting mystery surrounding the Ba'ku Ancients and the Genetic Seed, fun interactions between protagonist Sovok and returning players Picard and Data, and some intriguing plot developments. It's a strong story, and in my opinion, it's a massive improvement on Insurrection and its story.
But that's just me.

I have yet to finish it but I enjoyed it as well!
The only reason WHY I haven't finished it is due to the trial-and-error stealth section (which is a blemish on an otherwise solid title) and the fact I'm busy with my first playthrough of another great Star Trek game, Elite Force II, which rivals and almost tops the original Voyager: Elite Force game IMO.
