So, I made this.

Thanks!
Short life update: I’m fine, but my partner had a surgical procedure this morning and I’m the nurse for the next week or so. Still learning how to make things go kaboom with the fluid dynamics package I bought a few weeks ago. May be a while before further updates. Stay safe, stay healthy, and STAY HOME!

Thanks!

Been there, done that. Take care and update when you can :techman:

Oh man, good luck.

Enjoy the new software!

Please stay healthy. You are a talented artist.

Are you referring to the flickering of the emitters on the second and third passes of the Constellation? I decided those were a little too flickery, which is why the first and last passes (which were actually composed and rendered third and fourth) have the steadier emitters that "warm up" and "cool off" after firing. (The flickery effect was a nice accidental discovery though; when I savage the Constellation with an antiproton beam later this month, the flickery look can be reused for melting/burning structural beams and such.)

Yes I was referring to the flickering on the second and third passes. But rewatching it I totally agree that the "warm up/cool down-effect" is the better solution. Those warp effects are just gorgeous by the way.

Still here! :techman:
Still not able to find time to work on this.
But I didn't want this post to sink to page 3 in the Trek Art section :ouch: without at least posting something artsy.
So, I made this.

I still don't know when I'm going to be able to get back to this project, but I promise it's not dead. It's just resting. Pining for the fjords. Lovely plumage.

Thanks everyone. BTW, Mr. Professor Moriarty has now almost completely recovered from his surgical procedure. His powers of recuperation are astonishing and a blessing in the middle of this madness. We are both healthy and will continue to hunker down for however long it takes. I hope to get back to this project eventually, so keep on trekkin’ in the meantime and LLAP, ya’ll! :luvlove:

Well I’m almost vibrating with excitement. Exactly two months to the day after Mr. Professor Moriarty’s surgery—during which time I’ve been his Nurse Chapel—he’s kicking me out of the house for the weekend so that he can do a thorough spring cleaning without me around.

That means I get AN ENTIRE GUILT-FREE WEEKEND alone with my main computer at my apartment. And I know exactly what I’m going to work on, since I’m going to enter the flat in my hazmat suit and not emerge again until I return on Monday. :mallory:
