Which completely ignores my point.There were Transporter & Sensor Jammers from both sides across the battle field, so you couldn't just beam into the enemy facility, you had to march in on foot the old fashioned way.
When you remove the most convenient ways to travel (Transporter, Air Lift, Mechanized Vehicle), you're left with the basics, marching towards the destination.
I'm sure the Jem Hadar had Transporter Scramblers if an enemy signal was to beam in, there molecular patterns would get scattered all over into individual atomic pieces.
