ing LOVE the Turbolift Funhouse, and I hope SNW shows it. (We know the ship has one, as per that Short Trek.)I could give a damn how realistic (or not) that it is. It just looks cool. What more do they need?
Oh, and speaking of the short trek in question: They should bring back Upjohn the engineer.
The other theory I heard was that the "scorch" gets moved from time to time as needed, during major repairs and whatnot. That could add an element to the scavenger hunt aspect; not only do you have to get to it, you have to find it.

Strange New Worlds is the first live-action NuTrek show that is not in the Top 30. Even the season premier of Lower Decks was in the Top 30.
And speaking of "demand":
You can't even see Strange New Worlds or any NuTrek show when you compare them to really popular shows.
"Huge" "demand". That's not what a "hit" looks like.
