I was entertained by Keitel's hijacking hijinks and related pirate shenanigans.

The costume department must have a huge budget. Those were exquisite. And two weeks in a row we got a peak into the costuming process.

Wheaton seemed a lot more... natural... in this latest (July 7) episode of The Ready Room. Maybe it was because it was the last episode of the season, or maybe it's because they were on the Enterprise set, or maybe because he was actually sitting across from people instead of teleconferencing. It was nice to see.

Also, I loved Henry Alonso Myers' description of Star Trek as a "collective dream". Wonderful way of putting it.

It's also exciting to hear him say that season 2 will be more ambitious - "something I don't think we could've done in season one".

So Lower Decks is up next for Nu Trek with a slight break according to Wil Wheaton in "The Ready Room".

Summer of 2022 is the release window.

I wonder given the timeline change aspect if we're getting another 'alternate' Kirk in this one? If that's the case It'll be funny if they have either Pike or her run into an actual 'Prime Timeline' version of Kirk who wonders how two people he's never really met know SO MUCH about him.

On Paramount+ through Amazon I discovered that they were at the front of the episode cue and are all numbered zero.
Hm, haven't spotted it in the Paramount+ app in Germany. I'm using that via Google Home Chromecast (or whatever it's called), but I don't see how that would change the content it's making available to me.
