Snow?

It's well over 8 inches on the ground where I am. It barely stopped snowing here all day. Earlier, I took a crate of Fosters and a bottle of Jagermeister out into the back yard and buried them in the snow. Mmmmmmm, ice cold. :D

Yes, there is snow in my area. It started snowing at the 31st of December and it hasn't melted yet. I like it :D. Today I saw three kids with their sledge speeding down a hill. It was nice. My only concern is that the trains will be delayed.

Can you remember were you buried them.
Did anyone see news night last night there was a clip from the 60s whre this steam train was going towards a snow drifted that was taller than the train but it just smashed it way though.
Why can't we do that today.:(

It's a good covering here and still falling ~ looks v romantic from my sofa. So we've got a 'snow day', everything's shut ~ Son's college cos they seem to close for any reason, unless he's just telling me that :shifty: and my work 'cos it's a golf club and apparently they lose their balls in the snow ;)
So as he has exams next week I thought we'd sit down and do some revision...
Yeah... he's out sledging and I'm watching a cosy film, the best laid plans and all

30 inches on the ground, 6 of them from last night. It has been snowing since Christmas, a little each day.

Lots of snow today here. It's irritating, but passable. Tonight, we're expecting -7º so it's all going to freeze and tomorrow will be awful, slipping and sliding all over the place. I saw my first car ever in Britain today that actually had snow chains. I'm considering them, as I now work further than walking distance and don't have the option of 'not showing up'.

My dad drives a tractor round a factory and he's been told not to come in today.
Guess if they can't get there lorry's out there no point in making stuff to go out.

We had 14 inches on Christmas Eve. It sucked. Now it's all turned to ice. Looks like a bunch of damn glaciers all over the place.

Well, we're supposed to get snow and sleet this evening..around one to two inches of it at least. And now everyone's at the grocery store and Wal-Mart buying milk and bread because they think there's gonna be a blizzard tonight.
