SNL mentioned Scott Bakula

You know, I never thought Brian Williams would be such a great guest, but he rocked!

Anyway, I thought it was fun that Scott Bakula and Quantum Leap got mentioned on SNL. :p

Good catch!

I didn't see the whole episode, but it's cool that TREK alumni still get occasional mentions and nods on other TV shows. Bakula certainly has had a lot of exposure since 1989, first with QL and then on ENTERPRISE. He's fairly well recognized by most people even if they didn't watch much or any of QL or ENT.

Shame there wasn't a QL episode where Sam leaped into Lorne Michaels the year he hired Robert Downey, Jr. and Randy Quaid. He could have set things right by making sure that crappy season never got filmed.

The most shocking news in this thread is that people still watch SNL. :wtf: That show hasn't been funny since I was in middle school.

I think just like every other rendition, it has moments of funny. Some of the people crack me up. Give it a chance. :)

The TV Funhouse cartoons are usually hilarious. But even Weekend Update sucks most of the time anymore.
