SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

I can't hate Tom Welling anymore.

It was such a joy to... but then, he is an executive producer.

But it does mean that he thinks of Smallville as an artistic consideration rather than a cash cow. Hell by this point it would be a massive fit of self denial if he didn't think of that set as his "first" home.

He's become too safe and familiar with his role. That's his problem. None of the writers want to challenge him as an actor any more, if they ever did.

Well Smallville will be over soon and then people won't have it to complain about.

My comment was more for the people who don't watch the show and claim to hate it and complain about it because it is still on the air.

My earlier comment was me just thinking out loud a bit after what Donald Draper said...I still enjoy the show and watch every week...I just don't think the past 3 seasons have been all that great...IMO.

If I wanted to stop watching...I would...I don't need you to tell me what to do.

AY,
We got 5/6 eps to go if you count the finale as 2 separate eps...I think I have a list of my favorites ready...I don't see "Kent" or "Dominion" making it on the list but "Booster" or "Prophecy" might. I am hoping both parts of the "Finale" are good.

Yeah I'm holding out for "Booster" (Geoff Johns and Sebastian Spence give me hope) and "Prophecy" once we get concluded this U bull crap.

But if Booster is so good that it validates everything which came before, then it will dissolve the bonds which hold us together.

We'll all wander off and lead useful productive meaningful lives.

Meh.

So was mine. I was agreeing with you.

The Mack is back?

http://www.tvline.com/2011/03/matts-inside-line-smallville-allison-mack/

Chlosure Is Coming | Fans of Smallville‘s Chloe were a bit disappointed to see their girl quietly exit stage left at the end of the February 25 episode, to work (off-camera!) at the Star City Register. But since Allison Mack only signed on for five episodes this season and that was the last of the bunch, what can you do? Well, for one, you can have Mack back. Though neither The CW nor Warner Bros. TV is confirming anything about the two-hour series finale beyond its May 13 air date and Michael Rosenbaum’s encore as Lex Luthor, a well-placed source tells me that Mack – also an original cast member – sneaked back to the set and will also be a part of the grand send-off. And that, friends, is super.

Litterally or figuratively?

Welling is working gratis to pay for Rosenbaum, can you imagine Ali just showing up and saying "Okay people, feed me some lines quick, I have a curtain call in three hours on the other side of town and we're burning daylight!"

I can see them all standing on the roof of the Plaent now as Clark for the only time leaps into the air and flies off. Quick cut to LuthorCorp where Lex spins in his chair from the window as SuperBlur flies by. Cut to POv of Clark looking down at his friends on the roof. Add SFX of Jor-el, Lara and Jonathon as shimmering ghosts. Swell music from Superman movie and cut black, graphic fades in The Adventure Begins......

Ausserilo's facebook status is that Chloe is coming back. So I guess that article was true. I don't see what the big deal is. I thought she would make some kind of appearance either with stock footage or with Aly is coming back.

The big deal is that her agent raped the budget to negotiate her spare time.

So she's out of time and smallville is out of money.

Something changed.

She can have more time, shit happens, but at this late stage in the game all of Smallvilles money is completely accounted for...

Unless she's working for gratis or Tom (or some one else) is paying her out of their own pocket.

The 200th episode of Cheers was just the cast on folding chairs telling stories divided by clips about the show and about the set and cast. Shelly long just arrived uninvited and unexpected, asked for a deckchair and sat down on stage with the rest of paid actors.
