Smallville news ..LEGION

I'll have to catch this episode as I like Geoff Johns work and think that he's writing some of the best Superman comics I've read in a long while. Well, besides All-Star.

Writing comics is completely different from writing screenplays and teleplays. Has Johns written for any other TV shows?

Johns also worked on the BLADE series with former JSA writing partner David Goyer.

He also wrote an episode of JUSTICE LEAGUE.

Major Charles Emerson Winchester as J'onn J'onnz? Spark that baby up and pass it over here, dude!

Cool.

Based on the many recommendations in the thread, I'll look forward to seeing how the episode turns out! Thanks for the info!

I think if they're going to use time-travailing heroes, they should bring in some time travailing villains.

Bring Back Tempus! Lane Davies and all!

Well... Duh!

I used to watch Santa Barbara just for him. When he came back from the dead as his childhood imaginary friend cowboy and fought a mental battle of wits to see who would lay his true love Julia, why it was just the best television ever. :)

I mean, as if any mother would name their child "Sonny Sprocket"?

as long as it doesn't end up like what happened on Lois & Clark, I might recall this wrong, but wasnt it, Lois & Clark travelling back to the wild west via a time machine driven by HG Wells, and for some reason Clark doesnt have his powers, and Lois forgets everything that happened in the past?

But then there was such lines as...

"Please, I have to know, a cape... Tights? You're a grown man for goodness sake!"

"My mother made them."

I loved Sonny Sprockett! That was the funnest soap when I was watching it!

Had my eye on Lane Davies ever since then...though the last thing I remember seeing him as was Eliot Reed's father on Scrubs. :techman:

I did an imbd search 5 minutes ago. he's on another long haul over at General Hospital.

That sort of daily grind must be crazy.

All of the Tempus episodes were awful plot wise, but they were the very best of the show. See how perfectly they'd fit Smallville?

Though perhaps the character might be a little too "fun" for SV. It's one show that really isn't big with the humor.
