Smallville: JL Vs L+?

Does anyone else think it would have been better if Smallville teased with the idea of Clark interacting with The Legion Of Superheroes rather than The Justice League...it makes more sense to me, plus I really like "Legion" rather than the episodes with JL members...that is just me though.

I think, to be fair to them, the Justice League members are altogether more familiar to a non-comic book reading audience than the Legion are. Somewhere in the back of their minds, more people are going to know who the Flash (yes, I know it wasn't actually the Flash) or Aquaman are than Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad.

Only if there's a Matter-Eater Lad-centric episode. For no other reason that I really want to see them try to base an episode of a superhero television series entirely around a guy whose only power is the ability to eat anything.

I think Ollie's role in the show as recurring hero and friend to Clark should have gone to Bouncing Boy.

We should have had Bouncing Boy at least 18 episodes each season. I would have particularly enjoyed the Bouncing Boy/Lois romance.

The assault on the Luthor complex in Justice, that last dramatic scene where the League is walking away while everything is blowing up, would have been much more dramatic if Bouncing Boy was bouncing away.

Bouncing Boy needs his own series forget about being a guest star on some other show.

I think we need to see some other members of the Legion next year as well as some other villians. Emerald Empress and the EYE would be great.

I have thought that using the Legion of Superheroes in Smallville as reoccuring characters would be a great idea as far back as season two or three when I first started to watch the series. Legion the episode is one of my top five favourite episodes of the show. Justice was great...it ranks number two but I still really don't like the idea of a proto-Justice League even though these characters are more familar than the Legion to non comic book fans.

The character in Craving ate human fat.

Matter-Eater Lad eats everything. If there's a fence in the way, don't bother climbing it. Matter-Eater lad can just eat his way through it. Nuts, bolts, glass, swords, airplanes, firearms, motorcycles, bank vault doors, precious metals, gemstones, computers, Miracle Machines, , if it's made of matter, Matter-Eater Lad can, in fact, eat it.
