I just watched the cat-fight again. Man, Clark really dumped Teschmacher on her tush when he took her outside.

I went with 'Above Average', mainly because of the Kandorian stuff and the No-Holds-Barred, Tess/Chloe wrestling match. There's still life in this show. Am I pathetic for wanting one more season?

when lois was crying up in the attic in front of the mirror.... was that baby blankets i saw her lovingly holding.... red and yellow I believe..... anybody want to bet 100 quatloos those were from krpyton...

Eh, decent episode, could have been better in terms of arc connection, I guess. But blue dress Lois and Dancing Lois, and soap bubble Tess were pretty good.

I thought it was kinda cuite since there was reference to Mrs Kent,Martha Stewart, but having Zod kill one of his favorite Kandorians to satisfy the injustice of Jor-El's(the clone)'s death was a interesting pont in the episode, and the fact that gemstone K its cure was green K was a nice touch too.

I love the long distance Heat vision blast to destroy the solar towers at the end,but did Kal-El speed up Zod's time table only next week will tell.
Also I heard from Vic from Screenrant that Smallville has an 85% chance of returning for a tenth season, but CW is currently working on Actor's contacts, but I know for a fact that Tom Welling signed for season nine, and ten,and Allison Mack won't be back for tenth season, but Erica, and rest of the cast are retained, along with Ma Kent returning as well as Perry white as EIC of the Daily Planet.

Any thoughts

Signed

Same.

I want one more season also...just to round the series out at 10.

Last 15 minutes or so I think saved this one.

That was his High School jacket.

I guess this episode was average, there were many blah points, but nice continuity on how Valentines day always seem to be a fuck up when Lois tries to enjoy it, and she looked pretty hot in the 50's style get up. Seeing her dancing around in the wedding dress was amusing and a darker turn on Clark is interesting, because it could go a long way to show why he's so adamant to do the right thing as Superman. I also liked how some of Chloe's ultra protect Clark thing didn't just mean to be hurtful to others, but to keep him from crossing the line and killing someone. Plus...Tess in the tub...awesome.

My complain is usually in for the whole timeline, and changing it thing, bah.

The ending was indeed badass. Though, I hope Clark managed to catch that falling bit of tower before it fell on the head of some poor late night office worker or taxi driver.

Still, pretty damn awesome scene. Go season 9 property damage Clark!

Second half of the Zod/Tess plot was great, first was just ok, and everything to do with "Traditional" Lois was just as sigh and wince inducing as the preview clip was for me.

EDIT: Oh yeah, loved the catfight. I know some spoiled people were worried about Chloe being able to stand up to Tess since only one of them has had any real fight training (as opposed to Lana and Lois v. Tess) but Chloe just fought dirty to make up for it.

No Allison Mack for season ten? bah.

Same here, that sort of dampens my enthusiasm for a tenth season. Of course, that could always change. I wonder if Allison herself doesn't wish to return for a final season, or if the showrunners and the folks at CW want her out for some reason. Considering her fanbase is fairly solid, I think they'd do whatever they could to hold onto her.

Just my .02 worth.

I guess anything for the CW to push the ICONIC relationship between Lois and Clark.

There was a great line on TWOP's boards about how it's "iconic" whenever Clark catches Lois when she falls but it's not iconic when you did it in every damn episode.
