I'm sorry, but "insider information" doesn't change the fact that Dr. Fate > Icicle.

Generally speaking, you are correct.

But everyone has a weakness, and if one is distracted, they could even by shot by a stormtrooper!

Somewhat lame how he died...but still "realistic".

Dr. Fate, anyway, still lives through the Helmet of Nabu, right? It's just Kent Nelson, a now very unstable and weak vessel, that was killed.

Well, unfortunately, I didn't get to see this. The northeast snowstorm knocked out my power on Friday and I just got it back.

Aww...you missed it. There was a three-way scene between Lois, Chloe, and Tess. It was awesome. Unfortunately, at the commercial break, Tom Welling came on and said that the scene will never be shown ever again. Not on repeats; not on the DVD; not ever. And it has been widely reported by anyone who might have taped or DVRed the episode, that that scene was scrambled and worthless when tried to be rewatched.

Yes as was stated in the movie but I forget by which character that someone else will take the mantle of Dr. Fate after Kent Nelson. I think it was either J'onn or Carter who states this. The power of Dr. Fate is indeed contained within the helmet of Nibu.

That scene that Broccoli mentioned was only for the original broadcast date and not surprisingly enough the highest ratings spike for the movie occurred during this scene as well

I am extremely sceptical that anyone could ever be shot by a stormtrooper under any condition, even if they were in a coma.
