I voted Superman; it was almost as good as last weeks. It was just fun. The Wonder Twins weren't so bad, and I loathe the Wonder Twins.

I got a feeling Chloe's memory engrams will be downloaded into watchtower computer and she will become watchtower in the end, if she dies.
I've suggest a similar idea before. I thought maybe she still has some residual Brianiac in her or whatever and she could do that reanimate thing he used to so. Like Hamilton works his mojo with some Kryptonian tech and she can take a sort of digital corporeal form within the Watchtower.

I also had her as some sort of uber sentient A.I. that "lives" in all computers kind of akin to Jane from the Ender books and with her recent voyeur fetish, that seems like a likely possibility.

did we ever get to the bottom of the origins of these Wonder Twins? were they just meteor rock infected kids from Smallville? or were they rejects from Lex's attempted army? or what?

Nope.. no origins of the wonder twins. And let's face it, it wasn't important to the story they were telling.

Your probay right, wer're just gonna have to assume everybody with powers is kryptonite related on some way, that or theyre aliens

in the DC univesre they are called Meta-Humans [mutants in marvel universe], its is a blanket definition for anyone human with super-powers.... be it naturally, alien, meteor infected etc...

Kryptonite manifests psychological damage externally.

From what they said about their pappy.

Beaten or raped?

Because those powers are about disassociation and escape.

Uh, they kind of implied that they were aliens themselves. Particularly the line about noone believing that they were just foreign exchange students.

Thank you everyone for your concerns about me not being around lately (never thought I'd be missed). With everything going on in my family life and the new job I recently started I haven't had a lot of online time. I only now got to finish watching Idol (it's 2:00 AM where I live).

I liked it for one major reason: the red sun scenes.

I loved it. The episode was fun. Episodes like this and "Crossfire" have given me some good Lois & Clark flashbacks.

I loved the Gleek "cameo" with the cell phone. That was awesome.

I'm also glad I wasn't the only one who noticed all the Dark Knight parallels.

Also, for good measure:

Boy...Clark is really doing a number on Lois. She is really messed up. And What a Deuche Clark is by not telling Lois after all this but he reveals himself to the wonderdorks...

I totally blame Chloe on that one. Clark seemed willing (or at least open) to the idea of letting Lois know, but then Chloe goes all "bad idea, Clark", so he seemed to turn his nose up to it.

How come Chloe's "secret identity" is worth shit compared to Clarks?

Sure they were recruiting, but it was just insane taking those kids into their confidence like that when they'd proved so far to be such absolute upfucks.

I like that idea a lot. At least if TPTB actually decide to have Chloe die a dramatic death, I really like the idea of her uploading her personality into the Watchtower mainframe and truly becoming Watchtower. A true ghost in the machine. I know it's been done before, but it would be better than her being completely gone, and if there IS a Season 10, then they perhaps could get Ally to do voice work, or even make a guest appearance as a hologram within the system.

Or like with Wonderman and the Vision from marvel Comics... How after the brainwaves have been turned into AI, the dead guy comes back to life and starts bitching about how the AI is stepping on her toes making her choices faster first nd better, that the damn robot has married his dream girl.

Now that Hank Pym is destined in a shortfall to marry the robot he's screwing which has his dead wife's brain waves bumping about in their, his wedding day would be the perfect moment for Janet Van Dyne to claw her way out of her grave and make a stink.

Thing is, if Chloe becomes an Immortal AI, then odds are that if she's around at the time she has no choice but to form the legion of Superheroes in the beginning of the 31st century just to preserve continuity, which would explain how history had been written to obscure her involvement in just about everything since she doesn't want to make it easy for the time travelling assassins.

Did everyone in the 70s smoke pot?

I mean, Jesus!

:wtf:

The Wonder Twins? Smallville may be their best interpetation ever. And that's saying something.
