Keep everything the way it was up until (and including) Ollie shooting Clark with the Kryptonite arrow.
CUT TO
Ollie, Bart and Siren have Davis tied up at the geothermal plant. Chloe is there also, and she is pleading with Ollie not to kill Davis. Davis wakes up and, realising what’s happening, starts to change into Doomsday. Chloe grabs the Black Kryptonite and slams it into Davis’ chest, separating him from Doomsday. Davis falls to the ground. Doomsday lets out a roar, and swipes at Chloe, hitting her, and sending her hurtling into the wall, killing her. Davis stands up and screams. Doomsday grabs Davis by the throat and looks at him for a moment, as if he recognises something about him, before crushing Davis’ neck and throwing him to the ground like a rag doll.
Almost immediately, two small explosions erupt on Doomsday’s back – it’s Ollie firing explosive arrows at him. Doomsday turns to face him, only to be hit with a sonic blast from Siren. The blast is overwhelming his auditory system, leaving him disoriented. Bart runs towards Doomsday, attempting to use his speed to distract Doomsday even more, but Doomsday is faster than anyone expected. He manages to catch Bart, and throws him at Siren, knocking them both out.
Ollie attempts to engage Doomsday, but is seriously outmatched. Doomsday takes a swing, and Ollie attempts to move out of the way, but Doomsday is too fast and still manages to hit Ollie, although only slightly, but even this is enough to put Ollie out of commission.
CUT TO
The scene where Jimmy arrives at Chloe’s car and finds Clark incapacitated. Let this scene play out in the same way as it did in the actual episode, ending with Jimmy finding out about Clark, and Clark super-speeding off to stop Doomsday.
CUT TO
The geothermal plant. Clark arrives on the scene, but Doomsday has already left. Clark sees Ollie, Bart and Siren unconscious. Then he notices Chloe. He runs over to her thinking she may still be alive, but is horrified to discover she isn’t. A tear rolls down his cheek, before a wave of anger hits him. He lets out a scream (similar to the one Superman does in reaction to Lois’ death in the first Superman movie) and super-speeds off in search of Doomsday.
CUT TO
Metropolis. Doomsday is wreaking havoc in the streets. Cars are overturned, bodies lie strewned all over the place. Clark arrives. Somehow, Doomsday knows he’s here, and turns to face him.
CLARK: “This ends now”
Clark and Doomsday run at each other, fists raised. They collide. The force of the impact sending out a shockwave which shatters the windows of the nearby buildings, and sends both of them flying backwards. Clark picks himself up, but just as he does, Doomsday lands in front of him. Doomsday grabs Clark and begins pummelling him in the stomach, he then spins round and throws Clark into a nearby building. Clark gets up, wipes the blood from his mouth, and then charges towards Doomsday. As he does, he fires a few heat blasts from his eyes, striking Doomsday square in the face, temporarily blinding him. Using this opportunity, Clark uppercuts Doomsday, sending him flying up into the sky. Clark then leaps after him, catching him in the air, and throwing him back down to earth. Doomsday slams into the ground, followed shortly by Clark, who lands on him and begins punching the crap out of Doomsday. Just as it seems Clark has the upper hand, Doomsday catches Clarks punch, and spins him round, slamming Clark’s head into the floor a few times before flinging him across the street. Clark, beaten and bloody, stands up and notices the destruction around him. Knowing he has to end this as soon as possible, he makes his final play. He rushes at Doomsday, and tackles him, leaping towards the geothermal plant (as he does in the actual episode).
As they fall down the chamber, Clark sends out a few blasts of heat vision, melting the rock ahead of them, he then slams Doomsday into the molten rock, before cooling it with his breath, temporarily restraining the creature, and allowing him enough time to escape the chamber, and detonate the charges, burying Doomsday alive.
CUT TO
The funeral of Chloe and Davis. Ollie is in a wheelchair after barely surviving his encounter with Doomsday. Clark is there, and so is Jimmy.
After the service, Ollie tries to speak to Clark. Clark says nothing.
OLLIE: “Clark… I’m sorry”
Still Clark says nothing.
OLLIE: “You were right, Clark. We should have let you handle it your way”
CLARK: “You betrayed me Oliver. You used my weakness against me because you thought you knew better, and now people are dead. People I swore to protect.”
OLLIE: “…”
CLARK: “And do you know what the worst part is? The worst part is that I could have stopped this before it even began. I had the opportunity to send Davis to the Phantom Zone, and I didn’t. I let my emotions cloud my judgement. I let my feelings for Chloe influence my decision, and now… now she’s dead.”
Clark and Ollie are silent for a moment.
OLLIE: ”So, where do we go from here?”
CLARK: “I’m leaving, Oliver”
OLLIE: “Leaving? For where?”
CLARK: “The Fortress. Jor-El was right all along. I’m not Human, and the more I pretend to be, the more people get hurt”
OLLIE: “Clark, you can’t just abandon your Humanity, it’s what makes you the hero you are”
CLARK: “Or maybe it’s preventing me from being the hero I should be… Goodbye Oliver”
OLLIE: “Clark…”
Clark ignores him and keeps walking.
Then, end the same way the episode did, with the glowing orb, and the naked guy, and the Zod symbol.
