SLINGS AND ARROWS: Good?

Hi there.


As someone who likes his trees killed, I wanted to wait reading "Slings And Arrows" in book-form. I've been waiting for some years now.

Is it likely it'll be published in dead tree form or do I have to buy it as an eBook.

For that matter, is it even worth it? Was it good?

Wasn't the latter entries of Slings and Arrows out at the beginning of last year so you, like everyone else awaiting a Trade Paperback edition for little over a year and not years as you've claimed.

Also given that Mere Anarchy was out last month, then Slings and Arrows is a good year or two away still.

Seemed much longer to me - that just underlines how long I've been wanting them in book-form. :-) But back to my more important questions:

1. Are they good?
2. Do they "deserve" to be my first ebooks? ;-)
3. Any plans for them to be released in book-form just like Mere Anarchy?

They're nice. They're not a must-read but if you're a TNG fan I say go for it, I don't think you'll be disappointed (well, I wasn't at any rate).

Any Trek deserves to be someone's first eBook .

I have no idea about plans for a printed collection, sorry. I suppose it's possible, though, SCE got them and I figure TNG should be more popular. Wait for some of the writers to enter the thread, if it's in the works they'll know.

Ahem. What I meant to say is, I am unaware of any specific plans. (I'd be very surprised if Pocket didn't continue to reprint the rest of the remaining original ebooks, but I honestly wouldn't expect S&A in dead-tree form for at least a couple years.)
