I recently got caught up on the DVR with this show and finished S2.
I've not read through the thread from my last entry so sorry, did many find the A-story lines about more one off mystries/monsters to be good or bad? Coming out of the mid season break with Mollock defeated, the Captain dead and Henry still alive but now without purpose I found those elements explored in the following episodes B-stories to be interesting enough. They Henry's new purpose with resurrecting the witch power coming to the front in the final episodes to be quite enjoyable. I really liked the hidden Jefferson "Witness" Library and think it was a mistake to blow that up. The time travel element where Abbie has a near similar first encounter on the road like Ichabod did in episode 1 was nice. Not to mention Ben Franklin, such fun!
The season ender felt like it could go either way. Giving enough closure and yet leaving a few threads to pull on for a S3...I hope it gets a Season 3!!
