The website Blogtor Who has a brief trailer for the new season/series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. For those of you who have read up on the guest appearances, there are familiar faces to be seen.

Also the site has the S4 cast photo. Those kids are growing up fast! And of course, Sladen doesn't look a day older.

Anyway, if you want to check them out click here:

October 11th? Yay.

So, is it still two episodes a week, like the Thu/Fri airings last year, or just every Monday?

Wow....Rani's going to grow to be a looker... :techman:

Also not certain I like the white shirt Smith's kicking. We'll see...

I'm guessing that's Jo that's being hugged.

Also those robots look a lot like Anwar's CyberDalek avatar...

She's probably a bit older than that...actually according to Wiki she's 20, so whilst I am old enough to be her father it isn't actually illegal to think she's attractive

Oh yeah and looking forward to SJA's return!

In order of appearances this will be the first time he wears it. Then in the Christmas special

Not much o say other than 'YAY!'

Well, except maybe 'Wtf is up with Clyde's pose in that group picture?'

The problem with the white shirt is it takes away his frumpy old man look. The shirts he wore in his first season look a bit old and worn, which suits the jacket and suspenders and bowtie thing he has going on and gives him a bit of a unique 'feel'. With a freshly starched white shirt, it just doesn't work anymore. Combined with the new jacket, which is similarly more plain, it looks more like something a fan might wear to a convention trying to approximate his look.

Too bad we didn't get to see Katy Manning's face. Still, the trailer has got me pumped for the new season!

I have to say it's a bit weird about being excited about Jo Grant returning. She is by far my least favorite companion and yet I'm really looking forward to appearance. I guess part of the excitement comes from seeing anyone from the classic series returning, although I have to give credit to Manning's performance in Big Finish's The Doll of Death going a long way in making me like Jo (although the story being fantastic on its own helped).

Did you hear The Mists of Time? I'm not a big Jo fan, either, but I thought it was one of the best Companion Chronicles so far.

the group photo makes them all look a bit thin, like they are posing as a group for X-Factor.

I hope the vultures are not going to be as cartoony as they look, still they do feature in the episode with theDoctor, so they cant be that bad.

But I think it will look fantastic when the eleventh doctor is near death and it's bloody and tattered( like the fifth doctor's outfit)

I was thinking the same thing. The one in the shot is bouncing around like a muppet.

No, I haven't. I'm busy playing catch up on 10+ years worth of audio plays. I'll eventually get to it...

it worked for Farscape, would love to see a proper puppet character in Who, and actually SJA might be the best place for it, what if Mr Smith had been more like Pilot?
