Sisko and bajorian prophecies

You now.. I really think that when he joins the prophets he some how influences all the legends and prophecies as the prophets do live outside time and all. Just a thought re-watching DS9 episodes.

You mean, maybe the Prophets went back and rewrote the prophecy the same way that the ancient poet suddenly finished his unfinished poems but everybody still remembered them unfinished?

The prophecies are just what the Bajorans write down. There is no need to rewrite them because they were always right. We just didn't know it yet.

That's how I like to think of it. That Sisko joined the prophets and then made sure thathe followed his own path.
