Sir Patrick Stewart open to another movie?

The first two seasons of Picard have snuffed out whatever interest I might have had in the future of TNG.
Totally agree. And, dare I say it, the TNG movies were horrible. The Picard character was turned into an “action hero” versus the cerebral empathetic character we knew from the show. I can just imagine how jj inspired TNG movie would come out.

I'd go and watch a new TNG movie, it's going to be one of the last time's we get to see them in action and though it maybe different from the TNG TV show to the movies previously, I'd like to see what they can come up with, they can't make Picard an all out action hero due to his age, but I'd watch it happily.

PIC season 3 is the last time we’re going to see these characters. They ain’t coming back for another movie after this. Paramount can barely get a Kelvin movie made, much less a prime universe film.

Oof. This nostalgia for TNG is over the top.

This show had a good 7 seasons. It had several movies that were NOT good, and failed the way they deserved to fail.

Quit being this dead horse. Let it stay dead already.

Theatrical release I agree. Still somewhat of a chance for a Paramount plus produced movie though IMO. Kurtzman's recent comments also leeds credence to this possibility.

I'm sure Kurtzman has pitched various things to Paramount, including streaming movies. Whether anything actually happens is a different story.

Star Trek XIV: The Return of Robo-Picard, the continuing adventures of the retired elderly admiral in an android body with no starship. Perhaps Data will return only to die again.
