I have never been very good at traditional RTS games like Command & Conquer and Starcraft. To this day, I still haven't beaten the final Terran mission in Starcraft.I've never been all that good at traditional RTS games....honestly I can't keep track of everything going on...Is Sins pretty easy to manage? And would you reccomend it to someone who is not expert at RTS games? The game is so gorgeous and epic looking that I reeeeally want to play it.
C&C 3, I had to finish on easy difficulty. I do a lot better when playing Rome: Total War, probably because it separates the resource management from the battles.Even though I am not very good at RTS games, I can hold my own in Sins when playing against the medium strength AI's. The game has a very nice interface, and everything is just a few clicks away, and a lot of information can be found at a glance. One thing I like, is that you don't have to worry about micromanaging your fleet during battle. For example, flak frigates will automatically target enemy fighters. You can also group ships together into fleets.
I would give the demo a try and see what you think.
Entrenchment is an expansion pack, available as a download from Impulse (Stardock's digital distribution platform).Secondly, you spoke of an expansion called "Entrenchment", was this an add-on pack, or is it downloadable content. I think I'd forgo it if it meant I couldn't play the Trek mod....the vid footage of YouTube is awesome.
