Actually, that made me wonder: has anyone ever filmed a shuttle landing from the cockpit?

^No problem! I've been rather fascinated with seeing a lot of NASA videos to see what spaceflight actually looks like from the point of view of the astronaut.

This video of Atlantis landing at Edwards AFB after STS-98 is one of my favorites because it includes the internal comms. You can hear the commander coaching the first-time pilot through the landing while the mission specialists in seats 3 and 4 discuss the view.
