Shows you'd like to revisit...

Recently I rewatched all of The X-Files straight through from start to finish. It has been years since I'd seen anything of the show and there were also quite a few episodes I'd never seen or barely remembered.

I'm now embarking on Stargate: SG-1 for similar reasons, which I'll follow with Stargate: Atlantis. But forget SGU. Yuch!

Other shows, not all genre, I want to revisit:

Batman TAS
Bewitched
JAG
Hawaii Five-O
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea
Barney Miller
All In The Family
Men In Black
TAS

That's good enough to start.

Anyone else?

Lost (maybe revisit and elaborate, but not remake), Heroes (revamped), Birds of Prey, Firefly, Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles, The 4400, Space: Above and Beyond. Off the top of my head

I'm currently revisiting JAG. I'm on season 8 at the moment.

At some point, I'll be revisiting:-

4400
Alias
Dexter
X-Files
Veronica Mars

There are others, but those will probably be the first.

I'm stuck in a Star Trek mode lately. My re-watch has so far consisted of DS9 first, then ENTERPRISE, and presently TNG, which I am now halfway through the third season. I was planning on following this with VOYAGER, but I'm beginning to get "Star Trekked out" (I NEVER thought THAT was possible!), and was thinking of following TNG with the George Reeves Superman series.

I've put a few thousand miles on my DVD player in the last few months.

Not ENTIRELY all genre, but close:

Angel
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Firefly
Freaks and Geeks
Alias
Lost
Roswell
The West Wing
Smallville (Seasons 1-6 only)
Heroes (Season 1 only)

Oh ok I got the context of the thread wrong, I thought u meant shows that could either be redone or expanded on. Some that left youbwanting more when they left the airs or shows that got canceled prematurely. I got it now.

Lost
Space: Above and Beyond
ST: OST, TNG, DS9, Voyager
BtVS and Angel
B:TAS, X-Men (90's toon)
4400
Dexter
Six Feet Under

TOS is at the top of my list. I'm going through that start to finish as soon as I am able.

I'm dying to rewatch the old Batman series. The last time I saw it was around when the first Burton Batman movie came out. There was a resurgence of the show on TV for awhile. There's been no sign of it since. I've read in more than one place that the powers that be of the current Dark Knight franchise are keeping the DVD release down. Supposedly they don't want that "camp' to tarnish what they've got going. No idea how much truth there is to that, but sounds fairly believable to me. I've also read that there are some rights issues (if you can imagine that these days ), mostly having to do with guest stars. Much like Wonder Years, we may never see this on DVD, at least not in its original form anyway. :klingon:

Sounds like fun, so I too will post shows I plan on revisiting.

DCAU (BTAS, STAS, Batman Beyond, & JL/U)
Scrubs
M*A*S*H
The Incredible Hulk (Bill Bixby, Lou Ferrigno and Jack Colvin)
Lois & Clark
Walker, Texas Ranger
Zorro (57-59)

I'm just starting to revisit Buffy. Very witty and charming show.

I'm not ready to re-watch the whole thing again yet, but I've been revisiting a few Babylon 5 episodes recently. It's a pleasure to get reaquainted with the characters, storytelling and humour on that series.

great list!

S:AaB is always a great idea. one solid season, and you're done!

i'm currently rewatching Babylon 5, and i think i'm going to follow this guy, who is rewatching Angel

i've been meaning to re-watch Terminator, but haven't gotten around to it. and of course firefly is always at the top of my mind :)

The full run of Lost and some of Heroes - it wasn't all a waste - such as early S3 - will be doing a lot of fast forwarding, however. ;)

Before revisiting The X-Files (which I've just finished except for the last film) I revisited Babylon 5 except for the films which I'll pick up this week. Presently I'm about 2/3 through Season One of Stargate: SG-1.

I've been slowly making my way through TNG, DS9, Farscape, and Babylon 5 over the course of the year.

I plan on making an entire run of The X-Files soon.
