Said it before, I'll say it again: Gotham should have freed itself from the Batman prequel burden by having Bruce, not his parents, die in the alley, making Thomas a vengeful (non-vigilante), reactionary, tough-on-crime politician.
Now I kinda want to see this show Drive. Fillion and Emma Stone?!
We are in complete agreement. I like the new Flash alot. For a current show that's saying something.Gotham
I pretend it's a prequel to the 1966 Batman show and it sort of works. Otherwise it's pretty awful. Especially in comparison to the other DC TV shows, my favorite of which is The Flash.
Heroes season 2 was weak but salvageable. Season 3 is where it really ran off the rails. Where no character had the same goal for more than two episodes in a row and people were evil...no good...no evil...NO, GOOD!
Wasted possibilities?
Journeyman
Now And Again
Enterprise
The first two never blossomed into what they could have been as if they just didn't know how to develop them. ENT was just completely counter to what it could have been. They took VOY and basically repackaged it and it was obvious and predictably bust.
Now And Again was something of a modern take on the Six Million Dollar Man, but they just mired it in soap opera.
Forever had a really great premise: a man who one day finds out he's immortal and trying to deal with that and figure out why. And it's a police procedural...
There's nothing wrong with Star Trek Voyager that isn't just nitpicking.
