Sorry.

Damn that's ugly. It IS different, I suppose.
I love it. It doesn't look particularly 'federation' necessarily, but with a little tweaking it could make an awesome pre-TOS Earth ship.

lol the texturing and design of that ship recalled to mind the Steampunkish ships of the anime series Last Exile

Yes! It would fit right in in that universe.

Here are some of mine, some more completed and fleshed out than others.

^I forgot those designs were yours!

I really would love to see more of that first one. Its shape intrigues me.

It also cracks me up how many of us doodle Star Trek ship designs.

I do have this old one, almost forgot about it:

I should revisit this, my Bryce skills are a bit sharper now lol...

A good number of the non-canon designs on my website (here) would probably count as non-standard.

Here's a few examples:

Here's some old stuff of mine (around 2001-2003). I came up with the concept for the second one before ENT came on the air, and the third was my own speculation on that one ship in the ENT opening credits.

Very interesting variety of designs in this thread! My favorites are the Spitfire, the Valkyrie and the Aquarius.

Check out my new thread; I included a new Class I starship design I call the Herman.

There a bunch of these that I like, but I have to say I think BJ's Aldrin is a really cool and logical intermediate step between Phoenix and 1701.

Quite Nice, Redspar. Though the scale does seem a bit off when compared to a Constitution class.

Thanks, BillJ

The scale is quite correct, I went to great details on measurements to make sure. The windows in the nose are quite deceiving, they are much bigger than you think. Here is some better pics to show sense of scale:

Who sits in the top most seat ? wicked design by the way :techman:

Thanks Benard,

I never completely finished the bridge (on of these days I will) but I had intended for that area to be the weapons/CIC station of the ship.

I may redo the whole ship from scratch eventually to be more contemporary (I designed this back in 1983)
