Shouldn't all the Discovery characters grow neck beards?

If any cast members have sensitive skin I don't recommend it. 
I think something is amish with that beard - the moustache is mishing.^^^

Ah. It's funny, I had of course heard it used as an insult but always took it to still be literal. More fool me.
The real irony though is that Disco Spock doesn't have a neckbeard at all. He's all all-face man. So I'm really lost.

Yeah, but McCoy was clean shaved in the next scene. Seems he only grows beards in his off time.
I have a beard essentially the same as Riker's, and a dickweasel at my university once referred to it as a 'neckbeard.' It's decidedly not just on my neck. I was more annoyed at his misapplied insult than his attempt to get under my skin.
That guy sounds like quite the jerk who can't appreciate a neckbeard. Fuck him and his ignorance.
Beard ignorance in our society NEEDS to be addressed.
