Shouldn't all the Discovery characters grow neck beards?

Considering the glory that is Disco Spock's neck beard, and Discovery's retconning of Klingons (they have hair now!) shouldn't all the remaining facially folically challenged characters grow neck beards?
Surely there is room for more glorious neck warmers!

It's actually a bit shocking - considering all the random aliens we saw on TNG and Voyager - they never messed around with neck beards. As in, facial hair just on the neck and nowhere else.

Yes but only if the template is the facial hair of Gul Macet.

That guy’s half-goatee thing doesn’t get enough recognition.

And he was Gul Dukat’s cousin.

Of course. Rejecting the popular course and embracing the obscure traditions of the past is what hipsters do best.
All of DSC's uniforms are now made from handspun threads woven into fabric using artisinal looms.

Let's make a petition on change.org for CBS to cancel the Picard series and instead make a neckbeard series!!
As it turns out, beards shouldn't be a problem for the Picard series. Riker and Worf had beards anyway, Geordi had one in the movies. Wil Wheaton has a beard these days, so Wesley can have one in the new show. Maybe B-4 has accessed Data's memories on growing a beard and "stroking it thusly" and now insists on doing the same. Picard himself had a beard in AGT, and this series should be set in the same approximate period as AGT's future.

More reason for that show to become the favorite of all True Fans

I was never much of a TNGer before... but now I've been converted. I'm a True Believer. Because beards make me a believer. A "Daydream Believer". Here's to the power of Lumberjacks! All the uniforms will be plaid. Riker's favorite. "They've gone to plaid!"

Meanwhile on Discoery: Spock, as strong as an ox, comes with an ax.

What about the men whose beard and hairy chests meld into one? Do they go all Seinfeld and shave their chests??
