Should the borg make an appearance in season 4 or later?

I would love to see a Borg tv series someday that explores who they were before they started to adapting technology to their bodies and explore how they got started.

Wasn't that a Borg in series 3, or someone like the Borg when they showed Michael trading with people to find black boxes I seem to remember her talking to a dude that looked like he had cybernetics all over his head like a Borg.

Sounds like a Cyberman horror show. Pass.
I think it sounds more like "Caprica"
I wonder was it a popular decision or a radical group. Also was it meant or was it supposed to just be like an internet accessable by the mind that got out of hand.

Not sure I want a TV show on it but it's fun to wonder. I did like the flashback scenes from Raven and the early XB scenes so a little exploration isn't so bad

An appearance should be limited to someone mentioning they had perished a long time ago, or the ship stumbles upon a Cube's wreckage, a thing like that. VOY laid foundation of it, the civil war ("Unimatrix Zero") has never been concluded, and the liberated drones intend to win Species 8472 over as an ally.

The galactic map from DSC's season 3 episode "Die Trying" features the Kazon and Talax among other things in the DQ but no Borg Collective, so it seems they are gone.

Careful with demystification (*cough* Han-Solo movie). I think their origin should be left to the audience's imagination.

I think it would be more a reflection on our modern day society only with a unhappy ending as the technology erases their humanity so to speak but creating a desire to create a collective.
Which stands the most uninteresting facet of a race that has pretty much had all the mystery sucked out of them, removing their value as a story concept.

Hmmm...well, it sounds like fan fiction style exploration.

That could just mean the Kazon and Talaxians now have a presence in the Alpha Quadrant.

I had a idea about the Borg. What if the Borg and Q are the same race. The Borg will someday evolve into the Q or maybe the Borg are what the Q will someday become. At some point in their future the Q will loose their powers but in order to try and maintain their perfection they become the Borg. Since the Q can travel in time and so can the Borg they are not limited to linear evolution like most species. Their past can happen in the future and stuff like that.

...I really don't see it.
