Absolutely nothing like the effing 1960's is it? So we listen to Green Day instead of the Beatles, and we have cell phones and iPods. Honestly, the 2000's so far seem like 1960's part two. So if you're going to revive something from the 1960's, I think now is probably about the right time.
Besides I'd like something optimistic, I'm kinda tired of the whole "we're doomed" thing.

Back in the '60's, we also listened to the Velvet Underground, which is as close as to Green Day as you could get. And The Doors were a lot like the Cure and the Cult as to be...well, the same.
