Assuming the story takes place after Nemesis, should Picard's name (or at least the Enterprise-E) be mentioned in the movie at all? Since we all know no one from the recent Trek series (TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT) will be in the movie, shouldn't at least a passing mention be made of Picard and his Enterprise to let the audience know what timeframe the story is set in? Since fans of TNG will never get another TNG movie at this point, do you think this would be the next best thing?
They wouldn't even have to show Picard or the Enterprise-E at all. Just a brief mention would be fine, to let everyone know that Picard is still out there in the 24th century exploring the galaxy.
