Well...that 250million number is tainted by the fact that JERI saw it over 750,000 times alone. Due to that large amount of viewings, I think at least 5million has to be sticken from the record!!

There will be lots of good will toward the next movie; as long as it lives up to expectations (on the part of the general public), it definitely should do much higher numbers.

Hopefully they can meet some of the expectations voiced by the fans as well, but even if the next move is "similar" in terms of action, humor and character interactions, it will be acceptable.

Maybe Pike should give Orci and company a pep talk though, just in case... "I dare you to do better..."

Which has me wondering if the film will be close to 255 million when all is said and done. Originally I was hoping for 260......but 255 will be a very good showing. 2011....here we come.....

Not if it comes out in 2011. Spider-man 4, Transformers 3, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 all come out that summer.
