Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

With all these cameos by everybody and their grandmother is there even room for a story in this thing or not ?

The story will come in the sequel.

Just like with "Superman Returns." Singer said he needed the first film to re-introduce the characters and set the stage. The story (if any) is supposed to come in the next movie.

If it's good enough for Superman, it's good enough for Star Trek.

Who needs story when you've got a cameo by spot's great-great-great-grandmother?

Did he really say that? That's funny. He kinda did the same thing with X-Men, though.

To hell with Stella: It's about time the Enterprise was updated so that it can Transform from a kickass starship with blue and red flame paintwork, into a gigantic space-going robot!

Oh yes, and the bad guy MUST be voiced by Hugo Weaving!!

You want the Enterprise to transform into Megas XLR?

Maybe Maxi Mounds can play her?

Maxi has already been cast in the role of a mutated two-humped Horta. She's been practicing scuttling around her back all week. What a trouper!

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

So with all these cameos, everyone who's anyone in Hollywood will have a shot at being in Star Trek.

Even Bob the wonder dog !

* My left foot just might have a shot at being in it too *

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

If only Roseanne Barr would lose about a hundred pounds, she'd be perfect for STELLLAAAAAA!!!!

Or: Glenn Close, uglified.

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

I'm going to go with Frances Conroy ("Six Feet Under") as Stella Mudd.

She's perfect!

How about that lady from CHEERS (Danny Devito's Wife, who's name escapes me at the moment) I think she'd be a perfect STELLA.

(EDIT: I think it was Reha something)

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

If Harcourt Fenton Mudd wife has to appear in Star Trek XI, make Paris Hilton play her. She was scarry in the 1960's and Paris Hilton will top her. But do we need Star Trek to be a horror movie?

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

Rhea Perlman would make a great stella. Likewise, I think that another "Cheers" alum, George "Norm" Wendt would probably make a pretty damn good Harry Mudd.(Though I'd prefer they cast Robbie "Hagrid" Coletrane if they ever decide to revisit that character.)

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

Stella Mudd and Lwaxanna Troi in a hair-pulling scene. (Mudd wrestling, anyone? :D )

And, since a time machine would be necessary, you could add Seven of Nine and T'Pol!

* sound of multiple heads exploding *

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

Thinking for real who would be a good Stella Mudd. The Stella Mudd on TOS I will have to say was a dog. But, maybe Stella Mudd and well the other Mudd should look much better. Im thinking, oh ya that woman that was Willow on that Buffy Show she could be Stella Mudd. Add a little bit of black eyes, yeppers she would be cute.

Re: Should Harcourt Fenton Mudd's Wife Appear in Star Trek X

But the WHOLE POINT of Stella was that she was, in every possible respect, REPULSIVE. Allyson Hannigan (ake "Willow") may not be a supermodel, but she's definitely CUTE.

C'mon, casting an UGLY PERSON ought to be MUCH easier than casting a gorgeous one, even in Hollywood!!!
