I like your idea.

And the spore chamber could be the device used to transmit his image through time and space.

The special effect that we see in the spore chamber is not unlike that which surrounds Future Guy. Are those blue spores around him?

And the reason why Future Guy is always in silhouette is because he is transmitting from a dark room, due to his sensitivity to light.
You're hired! This is EXACTLY how Discovery would do it.

I want Discovery to do a full season arc on the dark Tribble Sushi industry.

Can't stand sushi. Shave the little furballs and fry what's left of 'em. Tribble Nuggets, coming to your local Jack In The Box outlet on Discovery, with your choice of Romulan Hollandaise sauce, Klingon Prisoner Bits, or Redneck Terran crawfish sauce.

Now that I think about it, if they were to bring it up with an offhand comment that "for all we know, history's been changed beyond recognition" or something vaguely like that, it'd neatly excuse the continuity issues in Disco (although you could argue ENT itself already did) and fuel fan debates for the next 150,000 years.

Enterprise was supposed to blow up in early season one.

They should all be dead, if they hadn't been rescued by Future Guy.

Including Archer, who is Future Guy.

It's a bootstrap paradox.

I don't believe in paradoxes. Original timeline it may have blown up, and future guy may be Archer now, preserving his own existence, but whoever saved them the first time (which changed the timeline massively and was probably a major event in the Temporal Cold war) was a different player. For all we know this person wiped out their own place in history and this is when Archer becomes future guy.
