Should Davros return at some point?

I too would like to see a one on one show between Davros and Capaldi - Daleks have been over used in the new shows (and I am happy they are just pretending those "new and improved pure hump backed Daleks" never happened...)

I certainly do not miss the New Paradigm and could be content never to see them again. But I actually did find the whole "officer class" thing an intriguing idea. Yes, I realize that was likely just a hastily thought up explanation delivered to fandom to explain the return of the RTDaleks after it became glaringly obvious the New Paradigm gave fans a negative reaction, but it was kind of an interesting idea all the same and added a new dynamic to the Daleks. Sadly the show did nothing with the concept beyond paying lip service to it in Asylum of the Daleks, and I think that was more about filling out the Parliament set than anything else. Hell, I'd settle for colour-coded RTDaleks being then "officer class" if they're too ashamed to pull the New Paradigm models out of storage or whatever.

The New Paradigm Daleks were originally intended to have that rear hump as an alternate tool/arm storage unit. The torso would rotate back, swap arms and then use that special arm for whatever the standard plunger or gun arm would not do well. They discarded that aspect but kept that weird humpback the design. The NPD's were also taller to make it easier for people inside.
I like the idea of having color coded Daleks but I still prefer the reimagined classic design best.

The weird humpback was, reportedly, a modification that the construction firm made (not the idea of the weapons-swap-out, just the swollen mid-riff), and the designer was horrified when he saw it - too late.
