Short Treks Season 2 - UK

I've been looking about online and can find no indication that these are going to be made available.

I think it's further complicated that Disco is on Netflix over here and Picard's gonna be on Prime so - where to put them?

Anyone know?

If it's any consolation, I haven't like any of them so far.

I kind of get that you'd like to make up your own mind though...

Yeah we have the problem here in Australia too :brickwall:

although I noticed Amazon put up promo for Picard this week saying “coming January 25th”, so I was hoping the Picard Short Treks might have been uploaded there, but no luck :wah:

I’m sure Netflix will upload all the Disco ones prior to the next season like they did with S2. I do hope we see some new Short Treks (even just one) related to S3 somehow between Picard and S3 premiere.

As frustrating as it was for the other countries to miss out on having the Short Treks as they came out, it was nice to plow through them all in one go when they finally did come. Was it a week or two before season two of DIS was launched? Perhaps it will be similar this season?

I think Short Treks is a Netflix thing here, so even though they don't have the rights to PIC, surely they will show all of the short films, regardless? Or maybe that's just my twisted thinking.

The last lot came out on Netflix with zero fanfare about a week before Discovery season 2 began. I'm guessing this batch will appear just before Discovery's third season.

And i think "Children of Mars" is standalone enough that Netflix won't have any trouble airing it. Picard is barely visible for one second on a newscast.

well, i probably shouldn't admit it but I found torrents and watched them that way. I enjoyed most of them, wasn't so keen on The girl who made the stars though.

It's 2020. Netflix are fully aware that they're driving people towards doing that, by holding off on releasing them. Wouldn't feel guilty about it.

Just watch them once they appear on Netflix too, and then you can live guilt free ;)
