Ships of the Line 2017 Preview

Are we looking at the eighth year in a row with little or no Kelvinverse ships in the calendar? Seems that way...

Could be a rights issue, akin to why the novels aren't allowed to reference any events from the movies even though their timeline is getting close to the Romulan supernova...

This is another one I think I should know, but it's not coming to me. At first I thought it was a ringship, but the arcs don't actually seem to connect, so it doesn't appear to form a full circle.

I think that is a top down view of Nomad prior to the collision with the alien probe

Aren't the calendars edited by Doug Drexler, and isn't he staunchly anti-reboot?

The Kelvin Timeline ships and shuttles have not received the same amount of attention as the older ships and shuttles. It is frustrating to me, as a ship guide, that there is a dearth of information. I was hoping the Star Trek Encyclopedia would remedy this. Sadly, my hope was dashed when I learn that this work did not give more information and even got some of the information wrong - it listed the Armstrong's registry as NCC-1969, not as NCC-1769.

I get why they did it, 50th Anniversary, but I'm a little disappointed that it's basically a TOS calendar. I like each picture on its own, but would have liked some era and ship class diversity

It looks like there's a second ship/probe of the same design on the left side of the two-page spread. It's more of a three-quarters view, so you get a better sense of the shape. It's still just damnably familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

And, looking through EAS, I've found it. They are Voyager's multispatial probe, the irreplacable doo-dad that prompted the creation of the Delta Flyer. And, apparently, Drexler thought it looked cool enough to be used twice.

And then these ones I just can't identify at all. The first one looks like an alternate take on the Constitution. I'm thinking I've seen it somewhere before, but I'm not placing it.

According to Doug Drexler on facebook it's a concept model for the NX Enterprise.

I want to see more of that.

There's only one other shot I've ever seen of it, reproduced in this thread. Those three concept renders were from an early toy or model kit, within a year or two of Enterprise first coming out. And even then, it's not quite identical (the only difference I'm sure of is the TOS-style deflector on the SotL version. All other details seem to match).
