'Ship in a Bottle' as the final episode.

In some way, 'Ship in a Bottle' would make a good final episode for TNG, or at least the final scene where Picard suggests that their own reality might just be existing in a little device sitting on somebody's table for all they know.

Then, in the very end Barclay says: ”Computer, end program.”

I think I would have liked that ending better than what we got in "All Good Things", which should have ended on the bridge.

Better than Patrick Stewart waking up in bed next to Suzanne Pleshette and talking about the crazy dream he just had; or Wesley sitting on the floor playing with a snow globe with a spaceship inside.

Lol. I was just thinking of that

Didn't they do that wish These Are the Voyages though? People still really hate that episode, right?

Ending with a joke about how the show is fictional seems a little too direct and cute for a last episode yet reads a lot nicer and subtler for a regular episode.

This thread of mine popped up nicely as I'm one episode away from finishing my every-summer TNG marathon. (which isn't exactly a marathon because it doesn't have all the episodes? Actually... less than 50% of TNG.)
