Ship Fighting in Warp Speed?

If two ships get in the same bubble they can fire normally anyway. Phasers are like subspace radio I would think.

USS. Bonchune had fire phasers on the USS. Prometheus, while both ships traveling at wrap speed. And the USS. Voyager had fire phasers on the USS. Equinox, while both ship were travel at warp speed.

Also in TOS, the Enterprise could fire phasers while traveling at wrap speed.

Yeah, that's what I remember---they did fire weapons at warp speed in TOS. They even fired weapons while sitting still at ships flying by at warp speed.

In TMP whilke the ship is traveling thru the wormhole they use a photon torp and explain they could have used the phasers if the engines weren't malfunctioning. This is nothing new in any way.

Phaser fire or anything like it definitely can't happen at warp since it's only traveling at light speed. (TNG era) photon torpedoes are warp-capable. I hated this movie and by that point in the film I was already in a mindset that I noticed the phaser fire depicted would be impossible.

The ships aren't actually moving, though, it's the space around the ship that moves. That's the entire idea behind Warp drive.
