Statistically speaking, very few things legitimately get a pure 100% positive rating. Many people do tend to be more wary of such a high value no less so than for majorly negative ratings.

Maybe he's listened to Clownfish TV discuss the show on YouTube.

What happened with Voltron is that the shorter seasons were produced in 13-episode blocks but then released in smaller chunks as a creative and marketing decision in order to avoid long waits between releases.

Because She-Ra was basically given a four-season pickup off the bat, they can release the full seasons as they're produced.

Welp, on the plus side I will probably be able to find the time to binge it in a day...
 
Netflix tends to split animated shows' seasons in half and do two releases per year. So this is probably just the first half of season 2.

She-Ra is following the Voltron rationale for this smaller-season release format, so that's not what's happening. The second "half" of the Season 2 arc will end up being labeled as Season 3 and released probably in about 6 months even though the show's creatives and Netflix could very easily release all 13 Season 2 episodes this month and still only have a window of 6 months between episode releases because they're not dependent on production hiatuses the way that Voltron was.

I’m three episodes in and it’s just as great as the first season! It really does only have seven episodes which is so unfair. :(

Yes, I know. I'm saying that sometimes what's produced as a 13-episode season is released on Netflix as two shorter "seasons" of 7 episodes and 6 episodes, several months apart. This is what Voltron: Legendary Defender did. The first two seasons were 13 episodes each (though the first 3 episodes are combined into a single 68-minute "movie," so it's listed as 11 episodes), but then they did a 7-episode block in August 2017 and a 6-episode block in October, then a 6-episode block in March 2018 and a 7-episode block in June, and then the last two seasons were 13 episodes each. Since the 6- and 7-episode blocks are only 2-3 months apart, it stands to reason that they're produced as 13-episode seasons but split between two releases.

So if we get 7 episodes of She-Ra now, we may see another 6 episodes in June or July, if they're following a similar pattern.
 
The characters look so much better in their original costumes. Glimmer looks ridiculous as usual though.
