It was pretty good. The Wonder Woman cameo was nice but sort of required considering the subject matter. I would have had her come in to help out with the Greek monsters scene instead of the unicorns, which felt like a pointless addition by the end.
The post credit scenes were okay but they should have had a Black Adam one. There was no reference to him at all in the movie.

Huge props to the guy who called him Captain Marvel. The true hero of the movie.

It was actually a cameo by the actor who played Billy(the kid version) in the 1970s Shazam tv show too.

I think I'm gonna go B. Although I grew up in Philly so seeing stuff from the city destroyed on screen is cool ;)

I don't think it was quite as entertaining as the first movie, and it seemed to drag on more than it needed to at times. Too bad the JL appearance didn't happen because it could have re-created that classic meme panel of them trying to break through a forcefield ;)

Keep using those pieces of wood Batman and Robin... I'm sure that'll break it open when those other powered people can't.

It was something that happened in the original, but kinda weird for it be considered a 'family targeted/kids movie' with the body count it has. Although I guess a lot is 'left to the imagination' as you're not specifically seeing the corpses of people who most likely died.

I’m wondering if Athena is the new “Isis” since they are weary of using that name now.

I enjoyed this one a bit more than Ant-Man Quantumania. I will say the motivations of the played by Helen Mirren seems a bit nonsensical in that at first she wanted to take away all the children's powers; but later was just interested in restoring her own world and not really seeking revenge on the human world; but in reading the directors interview linked in a post above, it looks like something even they were aware of but because of all the actors they wanted to have in the film itself; it was something they were willing to live with story-wise.

And I didn't really watch any trailers or read any of the stuff leading up to the film; so when they have the Headless Wonder Woman in the dream sequence, I was thinking, "Really, they're doing another headless Superman style Cameo from the first film? That's disappointing..."; so I was surprised and pleased when they actually did get Gal Gadot to appear at the end of the film.

Given that I enjoyed Black Adam too, the fact that both the Henry Cavill cameo in that film, and the Gal Gadot cameo in this one is the last that we'll see of these two actors in those respective roles is also disappointing. Along with the other mid credit sequence involving the two characters from Peacemaker, I really wish they would have kept the original course and not brought in James Gunn to just start from scratch; but I guess that's under the bridge now.

But, as it looks like this film is also going to underperform at the box office; I guess I can understand why Warner Brothers is going the route they are with the DCU. That said, I also have to wonder how much all the announcements by James Gunn have affected the box office of the film.

Before this film they also had a trailer for the upcoming DC Flash movie, but it didn't send the audience was all that enthused about it either. Of all the characters from either version of the Justice League film, I was least impressed with Ezra Miller's version of The Flash.

I plan to go see it but unlike many others reactions to its trailer that I've read in the DCU movies thread, I'm honestly not all that excited about it; and I actually still like Ben Affleck as Batman more than I care for Michael Keaton in the role. I was excited to see the Batman 1989 film not because of Michael Keaton, but more because of seeing Jack Nicholson play The Joker, and I know that was the draw for a lot of people who were fired up to go see the film back then. The response to Michael Keaton being cast as Bruce Wayne was more: "Well they had to get someone to put in the Batman suit."; and for me he came across about as well as a block of wood in the film. But that's me.

They didn’t show the Flash trailer at my viewing. UK cinemas usually don’t look that far ahead with the trailers. Films shown are only 2 months away.

Gadot may be in The Flash.

Like the first one, I thought this was pretty fun. I loved the family dynamic between Billy, his siblings, and their parents. I do think the third act dragged on a little too long, though. I also thought the Wonder Woman cameo was probably the corniest scene in the movie, but I figured they didn't actually plan to end the story on such a sad note, so Billy had to come back somehow.

The real tragedy of this DC film shakeup is now we'll never find out what Mr. Mind had planned.

Gadot may be in The Flash.

Gadot (and Cavill) did shoot pick-ups for The Flash, but there's the suggestion that her scenes were removed. The true state of her involvement in the film will be revealed soon enough, but like so many, I hope she's in it, and on a level more than a shorter than short cameo (hint, hint).
