Sharknado 2: The Re-Sharkening!

^ That's good to hear. Gotta get around to watching this.

A 4th movie has been green-lit.

The movie ends with Fin's wife (reanimated Tare Reed) seemingly getting killed by a shark. There's a hash-tag "war"/whatever for people to deice whether she lives or dies in the sequel. (Yes.)

Please let her die. I don't want to hear or look at Tara Reed anymore. She has zero screen appeal. I cannot listen to her voice or look at her "screaming face" anymore. Have Fin lose her and hook up with Nova.

These paychecks must be pretty good for Ian Ziering.

Well, "a" paycheck is better than his part-time job at Arby's.

This one was even more incoherent than the first two, if that's possible. As much as I like these Sciffy B-Movies, I mean, sharks in space? Surviving re-entry inside a shark? And how did that dude get from standing on a defense satellite to the freakin' Moon?

I don't understand why Sharknado has achieved such mainstream popularity, while cooler stuff like Sharktopus hasn't. Oh, well....

And this voting on whether Fin's wife lives or dies reminds me of the Robin fiasco of the 80s. I'd rather vote on whether The Asylum lives or dies.

When she handed their newborn baby to Fin from inside the shark?

Just hand them their Oscar right fucking now.

:techman:

I confess I voted thumbs down . . . just like I did with Robin years ago. :)

Besides, Nova is much cooler than the Tara Reid character anyway . ...

^^ That was one of the things that really epitomized my disgust for the Reagan Era.

Oh, yeah. That was like a bad drug trip. :rommie:

Anybody else read the "Archie vs. Sharknado" comic book? I picked up up last night.

Surprisingly bloody for a non-zombie Archie title . ....

^^ Greg had some pretty strange habits back in the 80s. But then, who didn't?

I haven't heard of that one, but the Archie comics have done some pretty strange things over the past few years.
