Shameless Whoring: Ward & Dilmore @ ST: The Experience!

^ Well, some of the west coast writers have been known to attend (David R. George III, Margaret Wander Bonanno, to name two), but they're generally not featured guests.

I might go back this year. It's been a couple of years since I've seen Picardo and Phillips perform "House Call" and I want to see if Bob can say my (real) last name properly yet when he introduces me.

Has anything been finalized for the exact hour and place of the signing? If not, when will this information be available?

If the signing is too early or too late, I might see about getting a cheap motel room, so the sooner I know, the easier it is to make travel plans. Thanks in advance!

The exact time hasn't been set, though I've asked that it not be any earlier than 2pm due to my travel schedule. Not sure where at the Experience they do these things, but I imagine it'll be someplace near the entrance to Quark's/the Promenade. It'll be at minimum at 2-hour block.

Lookin' forward to seeing you!

2 PM or later sounds perfect to me. I hope they honor your request.

I'm also looking forward to seeing you guys. 1.5 months to go!

Based on my and TerriO's, er, experience last June, you'll be at the entrance to Quark's, right at the bottom of the staircase.

yep, that's where i met them. i've also seen Suzie Plakson and Richard Arnold, they were there on the same day, way in the back across from the entrance to the gift shop. i think you want to be in the front. :)

If you mean the Creation show in August, fat chance there being any authors there. Creation isn't real big on having mere writers attend their hallowed events.

Maybe Kevin and Dayton could convince the fine folks at the Experience to book a signing for around that time. Most Trek fans I know appreciate the work the current book writers are doing.

^ TerriO and I actually chatted with the folks at the Experience about the possibility of some year doing an author event at the same time that Creation has their Vegas show.....

^ By "author event," do you mean something involving just you and Terri? Or would other authors be included?

That would be great. However, see my thread over in "General Trek Discussion", "Whither Star Trek: The Experience?". This may be it. Nothing confirmed but all the contracts are up this year.

An update: Kevin and I have been confirmed for the 2pm-4pm block on Saturday, May 10th.

So, you know, Woo. Oh, and Hoo.

^ In Vegas? Land of the breakfast mimosa? Try crack of dawn, pal. (As opposed to the crack of Dawn, which might cost extra.)

^not in Vegas, it ain't. It's a common misconception that prostitution is legal throughout Nevada, when it's actually different in each city/town. So our guys better be careful down there! (Actually, getting thrown in jail would be nothing compared to Michi kicking Dayton's ass!)

I think prostituion is legal in Reno.
