Shameless Whoring: Ward & Dilmore @ ST: The Experience!

I only have one thing to say about this: :scream::wtf:, ok I guess that's two things.

This coming from a REAR admiral?

It always drives me crazy when I hear about stuff like this happening so close to home. I just wish there was some way I could get myself down there because I would love the chance to meet you guys.

Ah, we're overrated.

But there are balloons and free pony rides for the kids.

For the KIDS, Scott.

This thread has filled me with feelings I’m feeling deep in my feeling place.

Is this the feeling they call… nausea.

You're joking, right?

I'm flying into Vegas that morning! Well, looks like I know when I'll be hitting up The Experience. *off to find my copy of The Sky's The Limit*

Remember to show Amy that little number you and Dilmore call the "Bohemian Razorback."

I was just re-reading this thread to see whether there was anything I missed, and this makes me laugh every time I read it.

I may never be able to think about Arkansas with a straight face ever again.

Deftly handled, sir.

Kevin

^ If you come, stop in Texas and pick up Sissy. BYOR.

Um, you had BEST not be referring to me with the word "Sissy", Dilmore. I will kick your :censored: so far you won't need a plane back from Shore Leave to Kansas or Kentucky or whatever K state you hail from.

Scared yet?

My fiancee and I go to Vegas once or twice a year for a weekend and I used KRAD and Terri's signing at the ST experiance last year as an excuse to go but this year we bought our apartment and we're paying for a wedding so it's not looking good as we're actually on a budget. We're looking at air fares and things but I'm not going to know until pretty close to the day.

Like the subject line says, I'm engaging in a rare bit of self-promotion beyond the boundaries of my website and blog.

Kevin and I have been scheduled to hold a book signing at Star Trek: The Experience during the afternoon of Saturday, May 10th. We're not yet sure of the actual time slot, but it'll be a 2-hour block.

So, if you're in or near the area and have nothing better to do that afternoon, we'd love to see ya!

Sounds like fun! If I weren't swamped with work and MBA studies, I'd consider hopping -- or flying -- to LV in order to say hi. :)

Then you should be very happy to hear that I've turned the footage of your last performance of the Bohemian Razorback into a little flipbook. It's even better when you flip it backwards. Somehow, even stuff that's just not right is funny in reverse.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I told my husband when I got back from that first Shore Leave....

That's what you get for settling for second banana. No worries, though...I'll be there again this year, so you'll have a chance to redeem yourself.
