Shada - Again!

One of my frustrations with the Shada recon - and Power of the Daleks - is that there are some... "hangs" for lack of a better term. When there's no obvious sound or action from the audio there's just weird lingering shots of the Doctor or Romana. It's less apparent in Shada but it pulls one out of the story.

I enjoyed it. But oddly enough, I felt like I enjoyed the Eighth Doctor audio version more.

Huh, I didn't notice that with either animation reconstruction.

How odd indeed. ;)

I just got the DVD recently, so I'll need to rewatch both versions, but I remember liking the 8th Doctor version a bit better as well. Partially because I can almost pretend that it could be a "canon" 8th Doctor story since it it pretty much an official BBC thing (and having a third canon 8th Doctor story would be nice, since all we have besides it are his birth and death stories), and also because it just seems to flow better as a story for me, although I'm not quite sure why.
