Best Writing in a Dramatic Series: Alan McCullough for “Tabula Rasa”
Best Achievement in Make-Up: Todd Masters, Leah Ehman for “The Last Man”
Best Visual Effects: Mark Savela, Marco Checa Garcia, Sebastian Greece, Shannon Gurney, Paul Hegg, Brandon Hines, Jesus Lavin, Nikolas Slotiuk, Toby Taplin, Ray Van Steenwyk for “Adrift”
Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role: Jewel Staite for “Missing”

Let the attacks/praise begin. But I thought that Adrift had some fine visual effects work in it.

"Tabula Rasa" is one of the few Atlantis episodes to deserve the credit.

If Jewel Staite even approaches winning for her character, and "Missing" in particular...well, that would just be unfair.

I think Tabula Rasa deserve a nomination but i have nothing ageist Jewel but missing deserves nothing more than a raspberry award.

Jewel Staite? Oh dear god. The worst main character of both Stargate series. Awful in The Seed.

One of the best visual effects shots were from that season though. When Sheppard takes a jumper out of the bay. The shot looking down on the city was breathtaking and gave a PERFECT sense of scale, as opposed to a lot of other shots of the city that make it look like a computer game.

Don't fret, I don't think she's got much of a chance against Natalie Dormer of The Tudors. Dormer and Maria Doyle Kennedy were the only names I recognized on the WHOLE list of nominees, yeesh. No wonder SG:A has a shot. The Tudors may be somewhat shabby by premium cable standards, but it's still in a whole other realm.

"Hey everybody, since we're all drunk let's nominate Jewel Staite for Missing. That'll be hilarious!"
