As I've already stated, I am aware that was his plan. I am, however, questioning the logic of his plan. Simply returning to those individuals serves no real purpose. They would, after all, still be stranded with no way to return home. It makes far more sense to me to stick with Destiny at this point in the hope that the ship will eventually be in a position where he could escape to return to the LA, rather than to willingly accept exile in a far-off galaxy.Not home, but back to the group of LA members they left on that planetFinding a new planet to settle on and searching for resources, sure, I got that. But I don't see how Simeon could reasonably expect to find a way back home without a ship. The gate network wouldn't have been enough to get them there.
This is the Lucian Alliance we're talking about--allegedly resourceful and cunning thugs. Given the ability to move from planet to planet they could easily build a comfortable foothold in their new galaxy.
That might be tough without slaves to push around, but no doubt they'd give it a shot.
